Mike Atencio

- What's going on Pueblo? It's Rev 89's station manager Mike Atencio! If anyone who works at Rev ever tells you they don't like talking about themselves..... don't believe them!! LOL. I was born and raised in Colorado Springs and graduated from Doherty High School in 1998. Shortly after, I moved here to Pueblo to start college. Rev 89 has been a huge part of my life since 2002, where I worked here as a student from 2002-2004, until I graduated from CSU-Pueblo. I did everything from sports to the morning show. I had a brief stint in
Albuquerque, New Mexico doing sales for a sports station, and in April 2007 I got a call to come back to manage the place I loved as a student! I've been the station manager for 2 years now and would not trade it for anything. I have always loved music, even thought I couldn't play an instument or sing then or now....I sure can talk about it. That is what led me to Rev 89.

I am also a huge sports fan. An interesting fact about me is that I know everything that involves Super Bowl Trivia. I can name the winner, loser, MVP, score, site, and the coaches. LOL!!! Some of my favorite teams are the LA Lakers (NBA CHAMPS BABY) and Miami Dolphins. Kobe Bryant is my all-time favorite athlete! I have a very close family and love being around them every chance I get. One piece of advice: Find something you love to do in life..... you will never have to wake up in the morning and hate going to work.
